Basic requirements for on-site inspection scope and classification of concrete structures
Engineering quality inspection is the work of comparing the quality of the project with the design requirements or the indicators defined by the specifications and determining the compliance. This work focuses on the legal rights of the parties concerned, in the sampling method, testing methods, evaluation. Deviations are not allowed on indicators and decision rules, and tests should give clear conclusions of conformity.
The concrete structure inspection is the actual condition for determining the structural performance parameters. Generally, the estimated value or representative value of the tested parameters should be given, and the data and information should be provided for the structural performance evaluation, so that the assessment organization can take appropriate treatment measures.
There is a process of mutual transformation between engineering quality inspection and structural performance testing.
