On December 9, 2017, the Gansu Provincial Transportation Engineering Inspection Engineering New Technology Seminar was jointly held by the Gansu Provincial Transportation Vocational Education Group and the Gansu Provincial Transportation Engineering Quality and Safety Supervision Administration. The conference was hosted by Gansu Transportation Vocational and Technical College, and there were more than 160 people from the province's transportation industry enterprises, provincial universities, and teachers and students. Professor Wu Jiayu gave an in-depth technical explanation to the participants on "Principle and Method of Testing Pre-stressed Hole Grouting Compactness and Falling Ball Geomechanical Properties". It introduces the importance and technical background of grouting and falling balls, and analyzes the principles and methods of detection technology in detail, so that participants can further understand the importance of the application of new non-destructive testing methods based on shock elastic waves in the transportation industry.
This seminar is an important platform for the exchange and promotion of new technologies and school-enterprise cooperation in the transportation engineering industry of Gansu Province.
